Privacy Policy

The short version

We ourselves collect no personal data. There are no accounts, sign-ups, or forms, and your game progress never leaves your device. The site shows ads served by Google AdSense, and Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure those ads — that is the only tracking on this site, and where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent first.

What we store on your device

The game keeps the following in your browser's local storage, on your device, readable only by this site in your browser:

• Your game save (cash, copper, upgrades, achievements, and similar game values).
• Your preferences (sound on/off, dismissed notices, tutorial/tour progress).

This data never reaches us. We cannot see it, access it, or recover it for you.

Advertising & cookies (Google AdSense)

Ads on this site are provided by Google. As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies (such as advertising cookies) and may use other identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance.

• Learn how Google uses data from sites like this one: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
• Opt out of personalized advertising from Google: adssettings.google.com
• Opt out of many other ad vendors: aboutads.info/choices

If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, a consent message will ask for your choices before any advertising cookies are used, and you can change your choices at any time from the link in that message. Elsewhere, ads may be served with cookies as described above; you can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time and the game will work fine without them.

Other third parties

Beyond Google advertising, the site loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers. Our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and filter automated traffic, under its own privacy policy — this includes the "verify you are human" check you may see when first visiting.

If you buy the optional Remove Ads upgrade, payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's checkout page. We never see or store your card details. The email address you enter at checkout is held by Stripe and is used only for your receipt and to restore your purchase on another device.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. The game's themes are fictional dark comedy about crime; we suggest it for players 13 and up.

Emails

We do not collect email addresses and do not send email of any kind, so there is nothing to unsubscribe from.

Delete your data

Game data lives only in your browser — this button deletes all of it. For advertising cookies, use your browser's clear-cookies function and the Google opt-out links above; we have no server-side data about you to delete.
